Fosters Needed

We have the opportunity to bring 9, 9 week old Dachshund Mix puppies to Illinois. We can only save them if we have at least 4-5 foster homes so that they would go 2-3 to a foster home. They would arrive January 12th.
A Journey Home Dog Rescue does not have a physical location and rely upon the generosity of families that open their homes to provide a temporary safe place. Fostering is a challenging, but rewarding experience.
We pay for all vetting, food, toys, leash and collar for the foster dog or puppy. You provide love, socialization, and start the dog or puppy on basic training. We are always available to discuss any challenges that you are facing. We want a successful experience for you and the dog in your care.
A foster commitment can be for as little as 2 weeks or longer based on the dog. Our dogs and puppies typically have a 1-2 week quarantine period. We can only save as many dogs as we have foster homes for so please consider fostering.
