Heavy Rain, Possible Flooding in Kendall County: NWS

Heavy rain and possible flooding may occur today as a result of isolated and scattered thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Frequent cloud to ground lightning may also occur.

Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected through tonight. Very moist conditions will allow thunderstorms to produce heavy rain, which could lead to some localized flooding problems, especially this afternoon.

Thunderstorms are possible for Will, DuPage and Kendall Counties. The highest chance of thunderstorms tonight will shift south of I-80.
