Host a high school foreign exchange student

Have you ever wanted to promote peace and cultural understanding in the Yorkville community? AFS USA is seeking a family to welcome a young woman from Thailand for the 2019-2020 school year. Meet Thanyaporn. She is very close with her parents and siblings and often goes to them for advice in life. In her free time, Thanyaporn enjoys reading travel books, listening to music, riding her bicycle, playing volleyball, and playing badminton.

Host families provide a bed, meals and transportation and most of all a home away from home while Thanyaporn lives here in Yorkville. Hosting is an amazing experience whether you have high school children, younger children, are single or have an empty nest.
