Kendall County Memorial Ceremony Honors Fallen Officers
The annual event will take place at 11 a.m. May 8 at the Kendall County Courthouse.
YORKVILLE, IL — The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police invites the public to drop in for a law enforcement memorial ceremony on May 8. A number of law enforcement agencies from around the county will honor fallen officers on that day.
The event, which is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. at the Kendall County Courthouse, will consist of adding the name of Special Agent Robert Kolowski of the Illinois State Police to the memorial.
Kolowski was nominated for the posthumous honor in 2018 after serving Kendall County for close to 20 years while working for the Illinois State Police, officials said. He died on Feb. 25, 1993.
