Kendall County Court Official Charged With Battery in Yorkville Incident

The incident occurred in late December. She has been in office since July 2015.

Robyn Ingemunson, the Clerk of the Kendall County Circuit Court, was charged with battery for an incident that occurred on December 21, according to a Yorkville Police Department press release.

After an investigation, police believe that Ingemunson reportedly made physical contact with the victim on the 600 block of West Verterans Parkway in Yorkville. The victim was not injured, according to the release.

Kendall County Now reports that the incident occurred in a bar.

Ingemunson, 49, resides in Yorkville. According to the Beacon News, she is the "former daughter-in-law of Dallas Ingemunson, long-time former Kendall GOP chairman." She was appointed to her current office in 2015 to replace a retiring Circuit Court Clerk, and she ran unopposed for the office in March 2016.
