2021-1737, Criminal Damage to Property/Battery: On 06-26-2021 at 6:04 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Baseline Road in Oswego Township for a report of a criminal damage to property and battery. The incident is under investigation.

2021-1738, In-State Warrant: On 06-26-2021 at 6:04 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies made contact with Manuel Torres-Orellano, a 21-year-old male from the 800 block of Oliver Ave, Aurora in the 5000 block of Baseline Road, Oswego Township. Torres-Orellano was wanted on a Will County failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. Bond on the warrant was set at $5000 x 10% + $75 FTA. Manuel was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing without incident.

2021-1740, Vehicle Theft/Battery: On 6/26/2021 at 12:56p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Rocky Way for a report of a vehicle theft and battery that had occurred on 6/23/21.  The incident is under investigation.

2021-1741, Driving while License Revoked: On 06/26/21 at 2:09p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding on a vehicle operated by Jodi Johnson, a 51-year-old female from the 1800 block of Foxfield Drive, Aurora. Johnson was issued a warning for speeding, but was found to have a revoked driver’s license. Johnson was cited for driving while license revoked and released on her own recognizance.

 2021-1744, Hit and Run non-injury crash, Rt. 71 and Sleepy Hollow rd. On 06-26-21 at 8:57pm Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Rt. 71 and Sleepy Hollow rd for a report of a hit and run crash that had occurred. It was later found that Garrett Weidert, 43 years of age of the 400 block of Seminary ave in Aurora struck a vehicle driven by Larry Lauderdale 59 years of age of the 100 block of Braeburn rd, Montgomery, in a rear end collision while travelling E/B Rt. 71 near Sleepy Hollow Rd and left the scene. Garrett Weidert and his vehicle were located in the city of Montgomery where he was taken into custody for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
