2021-1623, Traffic Crash with Injuries: On 06/16/21 at 7:55 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a two vehicle traffic crash with injuries on Route 71 and Union Street in Newark.  The driver of one of the vehicles involved, Mustafa Begovac, a 76-year-old male from the 0 to 99 block of College Street in Sandwich was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Valley West Hospital by the Sheridan Fire Protection District.  The driver of the other vehicle involved, Kelly Voitik, a 42-year-old female from the 24000 block of West Mound Road in Shorewood and a female juvenile passenger were transported with non-life threatening injuries to Morris Hospital by Newark Fire Protection District.  Begovac was cited for Failure to Yield at an Intersection and No Insurance.

2021-1625, Criminal Damage to Property: On 06/16/21 at 10:53 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 17000 block of Rogers Road, Fox Township. The incident is under investigation.

2021-1630, Harassment by Electronic Communications:  On 06/16/21 at 6:15 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of harassment by electronic communications in the 0 to 99 block of Sheffield Road, Oswego Township.  The incident is under investigation.

2021-1631, No Valid Driver’s License:  On 06/16/2021 at 9:07 p.m., sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at Light Road and Route 31 in Oswego Township.  Tamara Norman, an 18-year-old female from the 2000 block of Lilac Drive in Aurora, was cited and released for no valid driver’s license.
