Money Laundering, Meth Trafficking: Sheriff's Report

YORKVILLE, IL—Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Phongsavanh Cantharath, 55, of the 0-99 block of Owens Street, Nevada, Nevada, was charged at 11:49 p.m. May 8 for money laundering. Cantharath was also charged for methamphetamine possession, delivery or possession with intent to deliver meth and methamphetamine trafficking.

James Schultz, 62, of the 300 block of West Front Street, Cottonwood, Minnesota, was charged at 9:31 a.m. May 8 for out-of-state warrant.

Melvin Davis, 54, of the 2400 block of West State Road 352, Boswell, Indiana, was charged at 10:21 a.m. May 8 for violation of order of protection.

Matthew Williams, 22, of the 0-99 block of South Stolp, Aurora, was charged at 12:42 p.m. May 8 for violent offender against youth—change of address/school/employment.

A domestic battery was reported at 10:57 p.m. May 7 in the 0-99 block of Eastfield Road, Montgomery. During the investigation, a male juvenile was charged with domestic battery with a referral completed.

A domestic incent was reported at 4:44 a.m. May 8 in the 200 block of Light Road, unincorporated Oswego Township. The incident is currently under investigation.

Deputies responded at 2:45 p.m. May 8 in response to an incident that occurred between April 26 and May 3. The complainant reported that a headstone grave marker was stolen. The incident is still under investigation.

Deputies responded at 8:33 p.m. May 8 to the 13400 block of Brisbin Road, unincorporated Seward Township, for a single-vehicle accident with injuries. Christopher Emberton, 28, of the 12900 block of North County Road, Roachdale, Indiana, struck a deer with his motorcycle. The passenger, Brittany Fennewald, 28, of the 1500 block of Ridge Brook Drive, Joliet, was transported to an area hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries. Emberton was also transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
