Opioid Abuse Recovery Center To Open In Yorkville: Report
A recovery clinic received a $500,000 grant to open the recovery center in Yorkville.
YORKVILLE, IL — A Crystal Lake clinic has been awarded a $500,000 grant to start up an opiate treatment program in Yorkville, according to a report. Mathers Recovery, of Mathers Clinic, will open its third recovery location this June, said the report on Kendall County Now.
The new location, at 507 W. Kendall Drive in Yorkville, will work with the Kendall County Judicial System, Kendall County Mental Health Board and Kendall County Health Department, the report said.
The numbers in opioid-related medical calls and deaths has been rising heavily in recent years, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
