Popeyes, Planet Fitness Coming To Yorkville Next Year
It's not clear exactly when Popeyes Louisana Kitchen will be open, but it is expected to have a drive-through.

YORKVILLE, IL — Some changes are coming to the Fountain Village Shopping Center, located near the intersection of Routes 47 and 71, south of the Fox River. The shopping center recently changed ownership, according to a memo from Lynn Dubajic, the city's economic development consultant.
Roadhouse Country Bar & Grill will be expanding into the former Premier Mortgage Space, an official said, nearly doubling the restaurants's available space. A Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is also coming to Yorkville, taking the place of the shopping center's former Subway, which was located on the south end of the plaza. It's not clear exactly when the new restaurant will be open, but it is expected to have a drive-through.

The Chosin Few, a Korean War nonprofit, will also lease space in the shopping center to display information, photos and artifacts from the Korean War, officials said. The organization takes its name from the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, which occurred in November and December 1950.
Meanwhile, north of the Fox River, construction has started on two new buildings near Lighthouse Academy. Residents can expect a Grace Coffee, Wine Bar and Eatery to open in the location sometime in January. The owners of the shopping center are currently in talks with other perspective tenants, officials said.

A Planet Fitness will be coming to Yorkville too sometime in early 2019, officials said, as well as an Arby's, which will be located in the former Hardee's location on Route 47. The Planet Fitness is expected to open an office in the Yorkville Marketplace shopping center to sell memberships prior to its grand opening.
