The public and passholder reopening dates announcement comes nearly two weeks after Raging Waves said they're working with the state officials and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to safely reopen the water park during Phase 4 of the state's Reopening Plan amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement on the Raging Waves website, the company said, "In accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health, CDC, Kendall County Health Department, and the State of Illinois, Raging Waves is excited to announce its opening date for the 2020 season! We have been working very hard to get the park ready to ensure a safe, fun experience for our guests and team members."

"Raging Waves has always been known as one of the cleanest water parks in the world and it should come as no surprise that we will continue to uphold the same cleanliness standards you've come to expect," the company said.
