Road Closing For Yorkville's 4th Of July 2020 Fireworks
According to Yorkville Parks and Rec., here's when part of Countryside Parkway will be closed on July 4.
YORKVILLE, IL — City officials are sharing a message from Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department regarding traffic during Saturday's Fourth of July fireworks. According to Yorkville Parks and Rec., Countryside Parkway between Route 47 and McHugh will be closed from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday for the fireworks, which will begin at dusk and will be shot off near the corner of Route 47 and Countryside Parkway.
Any fireworks updates or cancellations will be shared through the United City of Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's Facebook page.

Yorkville officials recently announced the City is offering three vehicle neighborhood parades on Saturday for families to enjoy from their own front yard. Officials said everyone is welcome and encouraged to decorate and enter a vehicle within the parade to show your American pride or to highlight your business. Participating floats do not need to confirm participation, simply arrive at the line-up location approximately 30 minutes before the parade is scheduled to begin.

Please note, according to the City, this is a vehicle-only parade, and walkers will not be able to participate. In addition, the City said floats will not be allowed to throw candy or distribute any items from their vehicle and families are asked to follow all social distancing guidelines while viewing the parade. >> See route maps
