Sandwich Church Donates Funds To Open Door
The Federated Church of Sandwich recently hosted a basement sale with all proceeds benefiting Open Door Rehabilitation Center.
SANDWICH, IL—The Federated Church of Sandwich presented funds generated from a recent basement sale to Open Door Rehabilitation Center. Open Door is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide services and programming for adults with intellectual and development disabilities.
Kourtney Herren, marketing and development coordinator for Open Door, accepted the donation from Pastor Dan DeWitt on behalf of the church.
Contributions of this type help make it possible for Open Door to service 125 clients living in DeKalb, Kendall and Lasalle counties.
