Saturday Music Announced For Kendall County Fair

The fair is Aug. 2 to 5 at the Kendall County Fairground, 10826 Route 71 in Yorkville.

YORKVILLE, IL — The Kendall County Fair is excited to announce the musical lineup for Saturday, Aug. 4.

First is Cadillac Groove from 4-6 pm on the main stage. Jump into the purple Caddy for a fun ride through Southern Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B, Soul and all points in between. You'll find yourself singing along as Cadillac Groove puts their unique, high energy touch on the songs you know and love.

There's a reason Cadillac Groove is one of the hardest working bands in Illinois with a full calendar — they know how to "bring it" every time they step on the stage! Come enjoy a summer supper in the country while you enjoy the summertime evening from 4-6 pm. From the first note to the last, nothing beats a ride with Cadillac Groove.

'Fabulous Friday' Music Announced For Kendall County Fair

Then from 6:30- 8 pm plan to dance away the evening with The Moonlight Pickers unique blend of country, rock, and folk music. Driven to give a high energy, polished performance that all ages can appreciate and enjoy. The Moonlight Pickers are wrapping up their first record titled “Rescue."

Enjoy their original material, and songs that span many era’s and genres with guitarist/producer, Michael Pentz, Melissa Olson, Tony Spadaro, Sam Montiel, and Mike Smith on bass performing. The final group of the star studded summer night is Cluster Pluck. These three talented players perform on the main stage to finish out your Saturday evening from 8:30-11:30 p.m.

Cluster Pluck's performance will bring you until nearly Sunday morning with Americana's wild child, ClusterPluck, mixes bluegrass, folk, rock, and country into a hearty sonic stew. Throwing tradition aside, they utilize electric guitar, acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, Dobro, mandolin, banjo, and three part vocal harmony. They are from St. Louis, Missouri, and produce an up-beat, grassy energy with a little country jam for listeners of all ages to enjoy. In December 2016, ClusterPluck released a 12 song full length studio album, "Thousand Miles to Go." Currently, a follow up is being tracked and recorded.

You're invited to Come listen to the music on Saturday, but before you do, plan to see the animals, enjoy the great food, and visit with your family, friends and neighbors at the Kendall County Fair and 4-H Show August 2-5, at the Kendall County Fairgrounds located at 10826 Route 71, Yorkville.
