SD 115 Kindergarten Registration Event Scheduled For March 5, 7
Parents may attend either session, officials say.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville parents with children starting kindergarten next fall are invited to School District 115's upcoming information and registration events scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 5 and March 7, according to a news release. The school district offers a half-day kindergarten program.
The events will be held at Yorkville High School. Attendees should park in the school's rear parking lot and enter through door 19, officials say.
Childcare services and registration packet pick-up will be availablestarting at 6 p.m. School officials will be present to address a variety of topics including kindergarten curriculum, registration, immunization requirements, transportation, day care options, Dual Language/English Learner programs, and questions specific to each school, officials say. In addition, a brief overview of District 115’s kindergarten program will be presented at 7 p.m. in the Large Group Instruction Room for parents who are new to the school district.

Officials say that in order to enroll in kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. To complete the registration process, parents or guardians will need to bring an original birth certificate and three proofs of residency, such as a current tax bill, lease, utility bill or driver's license.
