Second Kendall Co. Resident Dies From Coronavirus In Three Days

County health officials announce seven new confirmed coronavirus cases while woman in her 60s in Kendall County's second death.

YORKVILLE, IL – A second Kendall County resident has died from coronavirus, the country health department announced on Monday. The announcement came on a day when the Kendall County Health Department announced that seven additional county residents have tested positive including four men and three women. The resident who died is a woman in her 60s, according to local health officials, who indicated the woman also had an “additional health complexity”.

“Our thoughts and well wishes are with the family at this time,” health officials wrote in a news release on Monday.

The new seven confirmed cases include men between the ages of 30 and 70 and three women ranging in age from their 20s to their 40s. The report of the second death comes just two days after health officials announced in a release that the first person from Kendall County had died. That man, also in his 60s, also was reported to have an additional health complexity. The seven new confirmed cases takes the total of confirmed cases in the country to 20.
