Senator Oberweis to host free Medicare Seminar Nov. 4 in Batavia

SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Jim Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) will host a free community event in Batavia on Nov. 4 to help constituents better understand the federal Medicare program.

Oberweis will host a Medicare Informational Seminar from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 4 in the Council Chambers at Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave., in Batavia.

Facilitated by AARP, the Medicare Informational Seminar will explain the parts of the Medicare program, and talk about who is eligible, coverage details, open enrollment, and how to get help with out-of-pocket expenses.

Ice cream will be provided.
