SIGN UP NOW for Blood Drive July 21 in Elburn
Sen. Oberweis and Rep. Wheeler to host "Together We Can Save Lives" Blood Drive at the American Legion Post 630, 112 N. Main St. in Elburn.

ELBURN – Citizens wishing to donate blood should sign up now for a free “Together We Can Save Lives” Blood Drive July 21 in Elburn hosted by State Sen. Jim Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) and State Rep. Keith Wheeler (R-Oswego).
The Blood Drive is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., July 21, at the American Legion Post 630, 112 N. Main St. in Elburn. Donation is by appointment only and can be scheduled at https://donate.illinois.versiti.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/5586613. Face coverings are required.
“The Governor’s stay-at-home orders have disrupted everyone’s normal routines, and as a result, many areas and health centers are experiencing a serious shortage of blood products. We are hoping that many people will go online and sign up for an appointment, and donate for the good of our communities,” Sen. Oberweis said.

“This Blood Drive is needed to help increase the supply of blood in our area. Your donations at this Blood Drive can help improve the supply of blood and save a life,” said Rep. Wheeler. “Illinois is experiencing a severe blood shortage and the pandemic is exacerbating the situation. I encourage those who feel well to participate, and I am confident that our community will step up to help our fellow neighbors in need.”
