There have been several slide out accidents as a result of the ice and slippery conditions, according to Yorkville Deputy Police Chief Larry Hilt.
The accidents have so far been reported on Galena Road, including a rollover accident in the 7400 block.
Hilt said the City's salt trucks are currently out and about in the area.
