Spirit Cheerleaders Go To Vegas

Spirit Cheerleading of Yorkville and Morris has returned from Las Vegas where the girls had an amazing opportunity to compete with teams from all over. There were 7 countries being represented and this event and many states from all across the US. This was the biggest and toughest competition our athletes have faced yet. This trip was made possible by their hard work and dedication to the sport of cheerleading, their families and friends and some really awesome corporate sponsors. TEAMS Passion, Legacy, Envy and all members of Spirit cheerleading would like to thank
Bearden Printing Services (Yorkville and Oswego)
Alarm Detection Systems (Aurora)
The Logo Shirt Factory (Yorkville)
Healy Bender Architect (Naperville)
Dempsey (Plano)
Bill-Walsh Automotive Group (Ottawa)
Mike and Denise’s Pizza (Yorkville and Aurora)
State Farm Nick Calo (Aurora)
ADG, Inc. (Naperville)
for supporting our teams and their goals.
All three of these teams did very well against gyms that have been in this industry for 20 plus years with the experience, knowledge and skill that we can hope for as our new gym grows.
Team Passion competed in the Youth Level 1 bracket and took home 4th place.
Team Legacy competed in the Senior Level 2 bracket and won 5th place.
Team Envy competed in the Junior Level 4 bracket and earned 3rd place.
This is wonderful news because these teams all landed in the top 5 , we couldn’t be prouder!
The gym was giving the opportunity to have two of its athletes represent the teams at the All-Star GAMES and Kayla Abney and Victoria Mleczko were chosen to do the honors. The girls did a fantastic job.
The TEAMS did an OUTSTANDING job.
And Thank you again to all who have supported these kids, their teams and our gym this season. Up next for Spirit is the US Finals and the Xtreme International Championships. Good luck next month girls.
