Spirit Cheerleading

Yorkville’s own Spirit Cheer Teams have done it again.
At the US FINALS in Hoffmann Estates the Spirit cheer teams showed there strength and team efforts to win 1st place in two of the five divisions they were competing in this past weekend. Team Inspire was the first team to win the highly sought after “White Jacket” which is the prize for placing 1st. Then Team Legacy came on to be the best of the best in their competition to finish 1st as well. Team Passion fought hard to win 2nd place in a highly competitive division. Team Envy placed 3rd and Team Pride placed 7th respectively. The gym’s owner and coaches have always taught their teams that to win at these tough competitions they need to beat the best teams by performing their best. That motto has shown through time and time again this season and has even taken hold in the Prep teams. Teams Ambition, Obsession and Frenzy competed at the Xtreme International Championships and by showing their obsession for cheer, their ambition, drive and determination to be the best by beating the best they were all in a frenzy when they took home their awards. Team Frenzy won 2nd place and Teams Obsession and Ambition won 1st place. Team Ambition is the ONLY Spirit Cheerleading team to go this season thus far undefeated! Way to go Ambition!
This gym includes girls and boys from around the Kendall county area. Nice job done by all teams. There is a competition this Sunday in Aurora for another Championship trophy and jackets and rings to the best teams. So show up and cheer your local teams on. The competition is this Sunday April 19th at the Vaughn Center doors open at 11am. Hope to see you there.
