St. Baldrick's Event Benefits Yorkville Students Battling Cancer
Donate or volunteer to be a "shavee" at the "Yorkville Braves the Shave" event.

The Yorkville community is invited to join "Yorkville Braves the Shave," a St. Baldrick's Day event, on Saturday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Yorkville Middle School, 920 Prairie Crossing Drive in Yorkville. St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that raises funds to bring awareness and research funding to childhood cancer.
The open house event will have activities for children, student performances, food trucks, Irish dancers, raffle baskets, a photo booth, and more!
The event is being held to support two Yorkville CUSD 115 students who are currently undergoing cancer treatments: Luke Garcia who attends Autumn Creek Elementary School, and Paris Strickland, who attends Yorkville Intermediate School.
