Hometown: Yorkville
Hero's job: Electrical Transmission Lineman
Relationship to nominee: Mother
Reason for recognition: He has worked the last month without any days off 26-hour days helping restore people electricity. If there is an accident involving an electrical pole he is a first responder and is one of the first people there to make sure everyone is safe.
One thing to know: He works really hard and misses his family a lot. You can’t turn the power on by a switch it takes time so please think about the people restoring your power in a storm it is really dangerous.
Thank you for all you do, Ryan!
