Tickets Now on Sale for ‘Annie’ Musical by YPAC
Two Local Casts Perform Nov. 9-10
Leaping lizards! Scores of community youth will bring an American classic to life Nov. 9 and 10 with Your Performing Arts Center (YPAC). Two casts – one based in Yorkville and one of Plainfield – will stage “Annie,” the Broadway musical, featuring favorite songs like “Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow.”
“This production is a full-length show, complete with all the Broadway songs you know and love, period-style costumes and sets, and fun choreography,” said Beth Jackson, Your Performing Arts Center’s (YPAC) Theatre Community Director. “These students work hard to hone their skills and are excited to share their talents with their communities.”
The shows feature youth, ages 5 to 17, who have been working closely together on the show for weeks, under the direction of YPAC staff. The 89 cast members represent several towns, including Yorkville, Plainfield, Plano, Oswego, Montgomery, Naperville, and Joliet, Newark, and Romeoville.
