PLAINFIELD, IL — Separate from its annual ranking of best high schools in the nation, U.S. News & World Report on Wednesday released its ranking of schools within metro areas across the nation, including the Chicago area. The best high schools by metro area rankings analyze how schools compare to each other in the same region.
