Wheaton Man Accused Of Putting Video Camera In Yorkville Bathroom

Clyde J. Vassar, 50, is charged with unauthorized videotaping, recording and live video transmission

YORKVILLE, IL — A 50-year-old Wheaton man is accused of putting a recording device in the bathroom of a Yorkville home, police said Friday.

Clyde J. Vassar was arrested by Wheaton police and charged with one count of unauthorized videotaping, recording and live video transmission, a Class 3 felony.

According to an investigation by Yorkville police, Vassar placed the device in the bathroom of a private residence. He is currently being held on $30,000 bond at the Kendall County Jail.
