Woman Exits Car With Open Can of Beer, Is Charged with DUI: Sheriff's Office
She was arrested near the town of Newark, Illinois
On Thursday evening, Shelly Marie Ziemba was arrested after getting out of her running car with an open can of beer, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
A witness reported a vehicle driving erratically near Route 52 and Roods Rd in rural Big Grove Township. Deputies encountered Ziemba near the intersection of White Willow Rd. and Roods Rd.
Ziemba gave deputies several different names and refused to identify herself, according to the Sheriff's Office. She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and illegally transporting alcohol.

She is due in Kendall County Court on March 9. An arrest and charges are simply accusation of a crime, they are not a finding of guilt.
