Yorkville Dec. Arrests Include Selling Cocaine To Cops: Police
Yorkville Police had a busy December with a Christmas day robbery, domestic battery and a $400 phone scam.

YORKVILLE, IL — Someone tried to sell undercover cops cocaine, and there were four traffic accidents Christmas Eve. The following items were taken from Yorkville Police reports Dec. 13 thru Christmas Day. All charges made are only accusations, and are not proof of guilt.
A juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct Dec. 13 at 8:26 p.m. at the 500 block of S. Bridge Street, police said. A call was made to authorities in reference to a fight that had occurred in the parking lot of the business.
Kenneth J. Sindelar, 45, of the 200 block of River Street, was arrested on a service warrant Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. The police report said "the subject calling was attempting to locate a telephone number." When police arrived, they learned that he had a warrant for a DUI and took him to Kendall County Corrections.

Someone reported scratches on their car, which was parked in a driveway at the 4500 block of Camden Lane Dec. 14. The police report said "the damage occurred as the offender left the residence." The scratches were made with an unknown object and an estimated $250 in damage was done. Tiffany L. Berger, 35, of Cliffe Court in Plano, was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property, according to the police report.
Paul A. Ceffalio, 26, of Genoa, was arrested Dec. 14 at a traffic stop near the corner of Route 47 and Main Street for driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and drug paraphernalia, police said. He was taken to Kendall County Jail.

Karan Zutshi of Chicago tried to sell two off-duty officers cocaine, according to the Dec. 17 police report. They were working as security guards when Zutshi pulled a small baggie from his wallet. The guards called the police and upon questioning, Karan grabbed the bag from his wallet and the ground, saying it was Adderall, the report said. A field test came up positive for cocaine, and Zutshi was taken to Kendall County Jail for booking, police said.
Police are investigating a burglary that took place Dec. 17. A woman left her home for about five hours, and when she returned, she noticed some jewelry and cash were missing, the police report said. There was no sign of forced entry.
Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Ridge Street Dec. 19 at 4:52 p.m. to a call about domestic battery. George Walker, 25, of the same address, was arrested and charged with domestic battery, police said.
An unknown person fraudulently charged $400 to a victim's credit card after being scammed over the phone, police said in a Dec. 19 report. The location of the incident was at the 2000 block of Kingsmill Court.
Someone removed a Crescent brand socket at a store in the 1800 block of Marketview Drive Dec. 20 at around 12:41 p.m. The value of the stolen tool was $2.98.
Aric M. Boldan, 41, of the 400 block of Landmark Avenue, was arrested at a traffic stop Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m. for driving with a suspended license and no brake lights, police said.
A homeowner at the 100 block of Appletree Court reported an unknown person or people did damage to their window with a BB gun. Dec. 22. A BB gun was recovered from the scene, and an estimated $250 worth of damage was done, police said.
Jesus Camacho-Vera, 27, of the 10000 block of Route 34, was arrested Dec. 22 for driving with a suspended license and no insurance, according to the police report. He was pulled over at the intersection of Route 34 and Route 47.
Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Veterans Parkway Dec. 23 at 11:12 a.m. in reference to property damage. A window of a business had been struck by a pellet gun, according to the police report. The incident is still under investigation.
On Christmas Eve, four traffic accidents were reported due to snowy roads. No injuries were reported at the following locations of the accidents:
-Kennedy Road east of Bristol Ridge Rd. 7:55 a.m.
-Route 47 and Route 126 at 11:28 a.m.
-Route 34 and Cannonball Trail at 1:27 p.m.
-Route 34 and Countryside Parkway at 2:14 p.m.
Officers took a report Dec. 24 of a criminal trespass to a vehicle which occurred Dec. 20 at around 8 p.m. An underage boy was referred to the Kendall County Probation Office, according to the police report.
Someone took $1,350 from a home at the the 200 block of West Veterans Parkway Christmas Day, according to the report. Police were called at 5:17 a.m. and found a smashed side door when they arrived.
