Yorkville Holiday Tour Of Lights, Letters To Santa

More fun and festive holiday happenings in Yorkville.

YORKVILLE, IL — Community members looking for a festive fun evening can venture through the United City of Yorkville Holiday Lights Tour.

Families and friends are encouraged to take pictures as they follow the clues through the tour of lights to find Santa's Sleigh, the Christmas Tree, Santa's House and other fun displays and festive decorations placed throughout Yorkville.

According to the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department, the displays will remain up throughout the Holidays for families to visit and enjoy.

Letters to Santa

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department also announced Santa is accepting letters at the official Santa Claus drop box located at the Yorkville Recreation Administration Office, 201 W. Hydraulic Ave., through Dec. 16. Santa will read your letter and respond by Dec. 23.

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department asks that you please make sure all letters include the child’s name, age and address to ensure Santa can send his letter back, and added that letters to Santa will only be accepted at the Official Drop Box located in the front of the Recreation Administration Building (mailed in letters will not be accepted.

Replies will only be sent back to individual families, and large groups or school submissions will not receive replies.
