Yorkville Man Arrested for Recklessly Firing a Pistol

Police responded to a report of someone shooting from a balcony

On Wednesday, Yorkville police arrested Adrian Jowers for discharging a firearm on the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive, according to a department press release.

Police were dispatched shortly after noon on Wednesday to investigate a report of a male shooting from a second story balcony. They found a semiautomatic pistol and shell casings at the scene, and police later located and arrested the 26-year-old suspect.

Jowers was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, and he was transported to the Kendall County Jail. An arrest is not a finding of guilt.
