Plano Man On Parole Charged With Battery

The male victim claimed that the man had "punched him in the face."

Police arrested Frank Jan Faybik Jr. on Sunday and charged him with battery, according to the Yorkville Police Department.

Officers responded to the 600 block of Greenfield turn, where a male victim claimed that Faybik had "punched him in the face." Faybik, a 26-year-old from Plano, was arrested and booked at the Kendall County Jail.

Illinois Department of Corrections records indicate that Faybik is on parole from a one-year prison sentence for "mob action" and a one-year sentence for fleeing from the police.

Kendall County Court records indicate that a woman filed an order of protection against Faybik in 2011, and that order expired in 2012.

A Department of Justice study found that two-thirds of prisoners were rearrested within three years of release.

A charge is merely an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
