Yorkville Police Reports: Battery, Resisting A Peace Officer

YORKVILLE, IL—Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Robert Sales Jr., 44, of the 100 block of Colonial Parkway, Yorkville, was charged at 12:10 a.m. May 6 in the 200 block of Beaver Street for battery and resisting a peace officer. The offender was arrested.
A case of retail theft was reported at 2:10 p.m. May 5 in the 1600 block of North Beecher Road, Yorkville. The Yorkville Police Department cited a minor for an ordinance violation after removing $53.27 of clothing from a retail store.
