Yorkville Police Reports: Route 47 Accidents

YORKVILLE, IL—Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Yorkville Police responded at 2:10 p.m. May 13 to the scene of an accident in the area of Route 47 and Cannonball Trail. During the investigation, authorities found the vehicle of Angela Fiorito of Yorkville was rear-ended by the vehicle of Jose Castillo of Montgomery. Fiorito was transported to a local hospital for evaluation with no visible injuries, and her vehicle was towed. Castillo’s vehicle was driven from the scene.

Yorkville Police reported to the scene of an accident at 4:26 p.m. May 13 in the area of Route 47 and Galena Road. During the investigation, authorities found the vehicle of Ramon Herrera of Yorkville struck the vehicle of Betty Bednarik of Yorkville, causing minor damage to both units.
