Yorkville School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

YORKVILLE, IL — The first day of school in Yorkville is August 15 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Yorkville Community Unit School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/20: 1-Hour Early Release
• 11/21-11/23: No School

December

• 12/21: 1-Hour Early Release
• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1-1/4 No School (Winter Break)
• 1/18: No School (Teacher Institute Day)
• 1/21: No School

February

• 2/18: No School

March

• 3/22: 1-Hour Early Release
• 3/25-3/29: No School (Spring Break)

April

• 4/19: No School
• 4/22: No School (Teacher Institute Day)

May

• 5/23: Last Day of School
• 5/24: Teacher Institute Day
• 5/28-6/3: Extra School Emergency Days (If Needed)
