Yorkville Trick-Or-Treating Hours Announced
City officials announced Yorkville's Halloween trick-or-treating hours during a meeting Tuesday.
YORKVILLE, IL – Trick-or-treating in Yorkville is scheduled to take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Halloween (Oct. 31), city officials announced during Tuesday's City Council meeting, according to Kendall County Now. During the meeting, Yorkville Mayor John Purcell said the city is extending hours this year because the holiday falls on a Saturday, adding that people can better social distance with the extra time, Kendall County Now reported.
According to City Administrator Bart Olson, Yorkville may issue guidelines or recommendations from the Kendall County Health Department or Illinois Department of Public Health for families planning to partake in trick-or-treating .
