Yorkville Weekend Weather Forecast: Icy Conditions To Clear Up

YORKVILLE, IL — Icy, dangerous roads will be an issue Friday night through Saturday morning as rain, sleet and snow fall in a wintry mix overnight. Friday's sunny, mild weather will give way to the wintry conditions at night.

Saturday is expected to clear up, with a high around 46 and a fairly calm wind. Saturday night will get chilly, but Sunday will warm up with a high in the 50's and a calm wind.

The hazardous weather outlook warns of snow, sleet and ice accumulation through Friday night and Saturday morning. The winter weather advisory says to expect mixed precipitation, meaning many roads may be unsafe for travel.
