YORKVILLE, IL — The City of Yorkville announced Thursday that the 2020 Hometown Days Festival scheduled for Sept. 4 through 6 has been cancelled due to state guidelines surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. According to a statement from the city, the cancellation stems from the state guidelines outlined within Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois reopening plan, which limits the city's ability to host festivals this year.
