The #11 Northern Iowa Panthers (26-2, 15-1 MVC) beat the Bradley Braves (8-21, 3-13 MVC) by 17 points in Cedar Falls on Saturday to stretch their win streak to an impressive 15 games.
UNI started off a little slow against the last place team in the Missouri Valley Conference. They entered half time with just a 4-point lead.

A strong second half was led Nate Buss and Wes Washpun, two bench players, who each scored a game-high 11 points. Washpun threw down an electrifying fast break dunk off of an intercepted pass.
In the end, it was another strong defensive outing for UNI, holding the Braves to only 16 points in the second half. Great defense (4th in the nation in points allowed) and strong bench play are two promising components for the Panthers, as both Arch and March Madness approach.

UNI’s next game is Wednesday, February 25th in Cedar Falls against the Evansville Aces at 8:00 local time. Evansville is the only loss the Panthers have suffered in the Valley this year, so they will be ready to avenge the 3-point loss they suffered in Indiana after leading by 16 in the first half.
