Ankeny Parks & Recreation 2021 Aquatic Center Update

• Both Cascade Falls Aquatic Center and Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center are scheduled to open for the 2021 season on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31, 2021. Cascade Falls Aquatic Center will be open from noon to 7 p.m. and Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center from noon to 6 p.m. Aquatic Centers will open daily once Ankeny Community Schools finish the 2020-21 school year, we anticipate both pools will be open daily beginning June 3, 2021.
• Pool rentals will be available for both facilities outside public hours at a date yet to be determined.
• We do anticipate selling pool passes for the 2021 season, however, we are still working through details regarding the sale of pool passes, due to capacity and safety restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Swim lessons will be offered at both Cascade Falls and Prairie Ridge Aquatic Centers this summer. Morning sessions will be offered at both pools, with evening sessions at Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center. Swim lesson modifications are still being considered. We plan to open swim lesson registration at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at ankenyiowa.gov/register.
