Ankeny Man Arrested For Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor (3 Counts) And Distribution Of Obscene Material To A Minor

On Nov. 20, 2020 Ankeny Police detectives conducted a search warrant at 117 NW College #2 in reference to a report made to patrol officers by the mother of a juvenile who lives out of state.

The resident, Alexander Martin-Wegman (DOB 08/30/93), was interviewed by detectives and multiple electronic devices were collected and brought to the Ankeny PD to be processed. As a result of this investigation Martin-Wegman was arrested on Dec. 14, 2020 at the Ankeny Police Dept. and transported to the Polk Co. Jail.
