Ankeny NW 18th Street Construction To Begin On March 29

The City of Ankeny will begin the NW 18th Street Extension – NW Weigel Drive to NW Spruce Drive construction project Monday, March 29, 2021, weather permitting. The project and will continue through fall 2021. During this time, NW 18th Street will be closed to through traffic from NW Weigel Drive to NW Abbie Drive. Please visit www.ankenyiowa.gov/construction and click on “NW 18th Street Extension – NW Weigel Drive to NW Spruce Drive” for regular construction updates throughout the year.

The NW 18th Street Extension – NW Weigel Drive to NW Spruce Drive project includes street widening and paving, and installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and sidewalk.
