Ankeny SE 8th Street Closed West Of Delaware Ave Beginning On May 3

The City of Ankeny will begin the SE Delaware Avenue & SE 8th Street Widening and Traffic Signalization project Monday, May 3, 2021. SE 8th Street will be closed west of Delaware Avenue. Please follow the signed detour on SE Wanda Drive and SE Peterson Drive.

The SE Delaware Avenue & SE 8th Street Widening and Traffic Signalization project will widen SE Delaware Avenue to provide northbound and southbound left-turn lanes at SE 8th Street, and install a new traffic signal. The project includes improvements to SE 8th Street and SE Mill Pond Court to provide left, through and right-turn lanes.
