Ankeny's SW Ordnance Road To Close On Monday, August 5
Beginning Monday at 9 a.m., SW Ordnance Road will be closed from south of the entrance to Ankeny High School to SW Ankeny Boulevard.
From the City of Ankeny: Beginning Monday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m., SW Ordnance Road will be closed from south of the entrance to Ankeny High School to SW Ankeny Boulevard. During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour using SW Magazine Road and SW Cherry Street. See detour map for further details. SW Ordnance Road will be re-opened in the afternoon of Friday, August 9, weather permitting.
This road closure is needed to install a new culvert under SW Ordnance Road as part of the High Trestle Trail Extension.
