The city of Ankeny has released its September 2013 building permit report.
In total the city issued 184 building permits during the month of September, for a grand total of almost $20 million in planned construction. The city issued 121 permits in September of 2012.
The city has issued 1,617 building permits this calendar year, 146 more than in the same time period last year.
