The City of Ankeny will reopen all of its public facilities on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

The City of Ankeny will reopen all of its public facilities on Thursday, April 1, 2021. This includes the following facilities:

  • City Hall (temporary location)
    220 W. First Street
  • Public Services Building (NEW location)
    1210 NW Prairie Ridge Drive
  • Ankeny Fire Headquarters
    120 NW Ash Drive
  • Ankeny Police Headquarters
    411 SW Ordnance Road

The Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library has been open since June 2020 and Otter Creek Golf Course recently reopened for the 2021 season.

The Police Department will offer fingerprinting services starting April 8 by appointment only. Register online for an appointment at www.ankenyiowa.gov/fingerprint. Registration for Parks & Recreation programming is offered online only at www.ankenyiowa.gov/register.

All public, with the exception of anyone age 2 and under, and staff are required to wear face masks in all city facilities as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If a person is unwilling or unable to wear a mask, they should continue to do business via phone, email and www.ankenyiowa.gov. The City is committed to protecting its employees and citizens during the pandemic.
