City Of Ankeny Receives National Award For Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has presented the Finance Department at the City of Ankeny with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its fiscal year 2019 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

The GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. This is the 18th consecutive year the Ankeny Finance Department has received this award.
