Creepy Capers Halloween Party Oct. 24

The Parks & Recreation department will host a Creepy Capers Halloween Costume Party 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Lakeside Center, 400 NW Lakeshore Drive.

The party is open to children ages 2 to 7 and tickets are $7 for residents and $8.50 for non-residents. Children will collect treats, decorate cookies, roast marshmallows and more.

Guests can register for the event online or at the Parks & Recreation office at 210 South Ankeny Boulevard. About 40 spots were still open as of Tuesday.

The City of Ankeny Beggar's Night has been set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Uptown Ankeny will hold a Halloween event from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29.
