Ankeny Area Chamber Distributed Fareway Gift Cards to BusinessesFareway Donates Another $200,000 to Support Small Businesses & their Employees ($400,000 total)

The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce distributed Fareway gift cards to small businesses and their employees. Business applied to receive a gift card through the Chamber.

“The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce is appreciative of the ongoing support Fareway gives the Ankeny community,” said Julie Todtz, President & CEO, Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce. “This generous donation helped many businesses who have been impacted by the pandemic.”

Fareway Stores, Inc. announced a second $200,000 donation to the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives (ICCE) in December. The donation provided for $1,000-2,000 in gift cards to ICCE chamber of commerce members in the communities Fareway serves.

The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce exists to promote economic development, strengthen our business climate, and enhance the quality of life in the Ankeny area.
