Friday Football: Hawks Take on the S.E. Polk Rams

Ankeny Hawks lost to the S.E. Polk Rams 42-10 Friday leaving the Hawks at 1-3.

Ankeny Hawks will face the S.E. Polk Rams away in Pleasant Hill 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The Hawks are 1-2 after losing to the Dowling Catholic Maroons last week. South East Polk Rams are also 1-2.

This game will be streamed online on behalf of Southeast Polk High School on High School Cube.

“Through three games, Ankeny hardly looks like a team built for overcoming deficits,” the Register preview states.

Located on Highway 163 (East University) approximately 8 miles east of Des Moines and 5 miles south of Altoona.  From I-235 take East University Exit and proceed east on Hwy 163 (East University) to the high school.  From I-80, take exit 141 south on the Hwy. 65/69 bypass to Hwy. 163 (East University) and turn left. High School will be on the south of the highway.  Virtually all athletic facilities are located at the high school.
