Ankeny split its high school student body into two groups when Ankeny Centennial High School opened this fall, but the girls' and boys' swimming teams remain as one.
The Des Moines Register reported that Swim Coach Michelle Stout is one of few coaches who doesn't “have to worry about losing her best athletes.”
Ankeny High School and Ankeny Centennial High School swimming teams will compete as one team into the “forseeable future.”
